The hitch ball lock is coated with what feels like a rubberized paint. Not much chance for rust. The other locks work great and i appreciate the kick covers. I’m very confident that they will prevent the non professional theif.

    Hi Robert; the pin lock that comes with the # ML44VR will work but I've seen some issues with fitment for the surround lock on your coupler style because of the shape and design. Some people have had success with it on that Demco eZ-latch but I'm not overly confident. Are you wanting to upgrade from your current lock? You could still get the Master Lock Hitch Receiver and Coupler Latch Lock Set # 2848DAT which excludes the surround lock so those are keyed alike and then get a different...

  • Recommended Keyed Alike Coupler and Hitch Lock
    Hey Heather, unfortunately the Master Lock Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock and Coupler Lock Set # 3794DAT is keyed unique so it's not available to be keyed alike. Instead, you'd have to use something like the Master Lock Set # ML44VR which come with all three locks keyed alike. This kit also works with 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" ball couplers and 1 1/4" and 2" trailer hitches. If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

    That's a really great question, Donald. The short answer is yes, some of our locks can be keyed alike, but not all of them. The key thing to know (no pun intended!) is that locks can only be keyed alike within the same brand. So, for example, if you already have a Master Lock, you’d need to choose another Master Lock that offers the “keyed alike” option to match your existing key.
