Video Transcript for Review of Master Lock Trailer Tongue Lock - Lock Set - ML44VR

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a really quick look at this Master Lock Set. Now, this all in one defense system is going to keep your trailer locked up and out of the wrong hands. You're not gonna have to fumble with a bunch of different keys because each of these locks are all keyed alike. And you're gonna get three keys here.

So one key is going to be able to operate everything here and you're going to get this adjustable coupler ball lock. And then you're going to get a locking hitch pin and then the adjustable coupler latch lock. And so let me go through each of these here for you. So I'm gonna go ahead and take the keys here. I'm gonna take one, slide it into the lock right here.

Lemme bring that up there so you can see, give it a turn. And then that's going to allow me to freely move this part here that's going to go into the ball. And I've got a coupler here, so let me bring that up. So I'm just gonna go ahead and drop that on there, lock that down. And then I'm just gonna make this as tight as possible.

You can see right there, put that in and then turn the key. And then I am locked so no one can come by and try to take off with my trailer. This is going to fit 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" ball couplers. So it's gonna be very easy to operate, as you can see. I want to move over here to the adjustable coupler latch.

This is obviously gonna secure your coupler's trigger latch that's gonna help block theft and hitch your unhitched, whether you're hitch or unhitched. So I'm just gonna go ahead and put that through there. Make that as tight as I can as well, all the way up to that notch. There we go. Remove the key. And so this is gonna be very easy to use. You're not gonna be doing a whole bunch of struggling. As you can see, this lock here has a cap there that's gonna protect the keyway. And this is going to fit most couplers and it has a six because it has six locking positions from 9/16" to 2-3/4" wide. So you got quite a bit of flexibility there. Give you another closeup view here and I'll just go ahead and turn that key on the next notch there. Got that locked, replace that cap just like that. I'm gonna go ahead and remove this on that key hole and each piece of this set feels very solid. I think it's going to be long lasting for you. I like the red paint on this. It's kind of a very noticeable red color. So would be thieves will immediately notice that you've got your trailer protected. And then we have our locking hitch pin and this is going to secure your ball mount or accessory in your trailer hitch receiver. This is going to fit 5/8" receiver pin holes or 1/2" receiver pin holes. So you're gonna be able to use this lock with either a 1-1/4" or 2" trailer hitch receiver so you've got that adjustability. And again, just give you a brief demonstration of unlocking this and then I can put the half diameter pin on there. Lock it up, good to go, so very easy to use. I just wanted to really show you just how quickly and easily you're gonna be able to secure your items. An instruction sheet is also included and so if you decide that this set is going to be exactly what you need, that's great.
